On Saturday, March 21, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy signed Executive Order 107 into effect, “directing residents to stay home.” We’re all supposed to be practicing social distancing for the time being, but the Order lists exceptions for businesses deemed essential. Some of the essential businesses are pharmacies, grocery stores, pet stores, and contracting businesses.
We at Tandem Contracting are extremely happy to be able to continue operating our business, and we’d like to underscore to our clients that we are following all of the government’s recommendations and guidelines to ensure not only your safety, but the safety of our employees as well. We are all constantly wearing gloves, washing our hands, keeping our equipment clean, and actively practicing social distancing.
The international coronavirus pandemic has left many feeling understandably stressed out, uncertain, and overwhelmed. However, this ongoing COVID-19 crisis does not need to put a stop to your upcoming home improvement plans.

Every member of the Tandem Contracting team is taking extreme precautions when proceeding with all projects. In addition to regularly keeping ourselves and our equipment clean, gloves are actively being worn on all job sites, hand sanitizer and wipes are regularly available to our staff, and we’re practicing social distancing on every job site.
The lucky thing about our line of business is that it does not require any direct person-to-person contact. We can complete the jobs on your house and/or property without needing to get within 6 feet of you, so there’s no need to let the coronavirus stop you from having your home improvement projects completed.
